$85 covers the cost of coverage for one month, ensuring a child receives his annual well-child visit and dental check-up.

Today, there are 29 counties that operate a Healthy Kids program. Looking forward, efforts are under way with state policymakers to integrate permanent funding for Healthy Kids into the state health care system.
